How to obtain a DOI prefix and assign Digital Object Identifiers (DOIs) can be complex for organizations. Cultural Hosting has become a Crossref Sponsoring Organization with the idea to help them in this task. You can get your own set of DOI credentials in one week We manage all the administrative stuff with Crossref and offer our clients what they need:

* NOTE ABOUT MEMBERSHIP OBLIGATIONS AND GOOD PRACTICES
Being a member of Crossref through Cultural Hosting as a Sponsoring Organization, has the same obligations and benefits as joining as a direct member, but you have someone representing you for Crossref services. In practice it is accepted:
- - in the instructions for authors, indicate them to cite by DOI as much as possible.
- - links in citations (especially DOIs) should work when clicked.
- - maintain a separate page for each article or publication (landing page), from which the document with the specific text of the article or publication can be accessed.
- - include the DOI on the landing page, the full text (eg, PDF), and the citation block (if any. DOIs are usually deposited against the URL of this landing page.
- - If at some point you are going to deposit DOIs through OJS, in practice it is accepted to start using the citation block (submission metadata), also indicate in the instructions to the authors that they cite by DOI where possible, and use the Crossref Reference Linking plugin (https://www.crossref.org/services/reference-linking/ found in the plugin gallery within OJS.
Finally, please remind you that in order to assign DOIs to journal articles, your publication requires an electronic ISSN.
